The project merges two Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) initiatives under a single contract. The scope involves the partial reconstruction of the I-4 and Apopka-Vineland Road interchange to improve safety and access to westbound I-4. Key elements include:
- Realigning the westbound I-4 entrance ramp from southbound Apopka-Vineland Road, enhancing traffic flow and merging onto I-4. (Number 1 below)
