About the Founder - Denys Schwartz
I’m a civil engineer and independent consultant specialising in commercial management, procurement strategy, and contract administration for infrastructure and energy projects.
Over the past several years I’ve worked on some of the world’s most complex construction programmes — including the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil and Sydney Metro in Australia — advising both private and public clients on how to better structure, deliver, and protect their projects commercially.
That work is what drives constructionfront.com. Every article in the Knowledge Hub comes from the same questions I encounter in practice — how to structure a GMP, how to administer an EOT claim properly, when a time bar is enforceable, how procurement model choice shapes delivery risk. The goal is to make that kind of commercial and contractual knowledge accessible to anyone working in the industry, not just those with access to expensive advisors.
My background sits across engineering, project finance, and commercial management. I hold a PMP from PMI, a CP3P-F and CP3P-E from APMG, an MBA in Corporate Finance, and a CAIA designation — a combination that reflects how I think about projects: technically, commercially, and financially at the same time.
