On 3 July 2023, Lendlease, a leading global real estate company, announced the appointment of Andrea Ruckstuhl as CEO of then European Branch, effective immediately.
Andrea replaces Neil Martin, who will retire by 30 September 2023.
Tony Lombardo, Lendlease Global CEO, made the announcement, recognizing Ruckstuhl’s exceptional leadership and extensive experience in the industry.
With over 25 years of real estate expertise, including more than 18 years at Lendlease, Ruckstuhl has played a pivotal role in establishing the company as a leading force in Italy’s investments, development, and construction segments.
Joining Lendlease in 2005, Ruckstuhl has been instrumental in driving its success in Italy, including securing major projects such as Milan’s groundbreaking MIND precinct in collaboration with the Italian Government, CPP Investments, and other project partners.
Additionally, Ruckstuhl has made significant strides in advancing the development of Milano Santa Giulia by introducing capital partner PSP Investments.
Lombardo acknowledged Ruckstuhl’s contributtion to the business, stating:
