Two Consortia shortlisted to Deliver Melton Hospital PPP in Australia

The State of Victoria (Australia), through the Victorian Health and Building Authority, has shortlisted 2 consortia to second stage of the tendering process Melton Hospital PPP Contract. 

These consortia consist of construction companies, sponsors, and facilities management providers. The shortlisted consortia are as follows:

1. Exemplar Health, which comprises Capella Capital, Lendlease, Honeywell, and Compass Group.
2. Wilam Marrga, which consists of Tetris Capital, John Holland, ISS, and Cushman & Wakefield.

Both consortia have been invited to submit proposals for the design, construction, financing, and maintenance (DBFM Contract) of the new major public hospital, which will cater to the growing needs of Melbourne’s outer west.

The chosen consortium will be announced in 2024, and construction is expected to commence shortly thereafter. The anticipated completion date for the new Melton Hospital is 2029.
